Copyright laws let creators control their original works. Any creation that is fixed in a recording medium — whether paper, compact disc, film or digital — is subject to copyright.
By assigning exclusive rights to copyright holders, the law ensures that only the originators (and those who receive permission) can copy, perform or otherwise change the works. This protection encourages artists of all disciplines to create original works that enrich life for the general public.
Protecting your original work not only enhances your earning potential, but also provides a benefit to the public.
We provide flat-rate copyright packages to assist all artists and authors in gaining control over their own original creations. Let us handle the paperwork so you can continue to pursue your passion.
Competition in business is fierce. Failure to register trademarks creates opportunities for competition and can stifle expansion. This puts your business, and any product or service development you are undertaking, at an immediate and unnecessary risk.
Securing a registered trademark protects your brand and provides the tools to shield against others seeking to benefit from your brand development. As your product or service becomes successful, the trademark itself starts to develop an intrinsic value. The time to protect assets is now; before they become liabilities.
We offer flat-rate packages for trademarking services to secure your brand and protect the value of your business.
Filing a provisional patent application (PPA) protects your idea(s) and begins the process of obtaining a patent.
The US is changing from a “First-to-Invent” system to a “First-to-File” system, which means your filing date will be THE MOST important determinant of whether you–or someone else who filed first–gets a patent. A PPA establishes an earlier priority filing date and gives you the legal right to say “patent pending” on your product.
Filing a PPA can be extremely useful in the competitive race to bring a new technology to market. We offer legal services to protect your invention and get the “patent pending” label, adding intrinsic value to your business. Let us help you to capitalize on your ideas before someone else does.
You want every chance to generate income from your music. While musicians tend to rely on mechanical royalties (tangible CD sales and digital downloads), music licensing is another way to receive compensation for the use of your music. From movies and television shows to bars and coffee shops, you can be compensated for the public use of your music.
We assist independent artists with distribution and licensing through national and global publishers.
Every invention, song, drawing, logo, clip or movie you create is your intellectual property. Our firm provides legal services to protect your creations including copyrights, trademarks, and provisional patents. Southern California is the entertainment capital of the world and we can provide legal services for artists of any background. Whether established, or an up-and-coming actor/actress, model, artist or musician, we can help to protect any career. Our firm can additionally provide services to protect your image and music through privacy torts and licensing services.
